Associate Director - Laudato Si’ Research Institute, Campion Hall, University of Oxford
The Institute will take forward Pope Francis’ radical vision in his encyclical letter Laudato Si’ and will foster interdisciplinary research and dialogue between theology, philosophy, theological ethics and the social and natural sciences on integral ecology, including integral human development.
The Associate Director will manage day to day operations, will play a key role in establishing the Institute nationally and internationally and will provide effective overall management, strategic planning and development and engage in research and teaching appropriate to the aims of the Institute.
The successful candidate will have a relevant PhD, significant skills in academic administration, and a record of high quality performance
The start date will be 1 August 2019

Chair of the Independent Safeguarding Commission
The Commission of the Jesuits in Britain is well established and has a membership of nine, including representatives of the core safeguarding professions of the police, probation, social work, the law and psychology.
The role of the Chair is to ensure that the Commission fulfils its advisory and oversight functions efficiently and effectively so as to ensure that safeguarding practice is of the highest standard, as required by the Catholic Church in general and the Jesuits in particular.
