Feast of St Ignatius: Manchester

Parishioners from Preston and Liverpool, as well as a group from Stonyhurst, will be travelling to Manchester to celebrate the Feast of St Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. The Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Name by Fr Ian Tomlinson SJ, the Superior of the Jesuit Community at the Universities of Manchester Catholic Chaplaincy.  The St James Consort conducted by Chris Martin will be singing most parts of a Haydn Mass for St Ignatius day. Alumni of Jesuit schools and colleges will be especially welcome.  The Mass will be followed by refreshments.

A celebratory St Ignatius Day Mass for southern Britain will take place at Farm Street Church in London.
