Nine Minute Novena | Day 6

As we approach the Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola on 31st July, please join us in praying a novena over these next 9 days from each of our Jesuit parishes in England and Scotland.

Today's novena comes from the Church of the Immaculate Conception in London, which is affectionately known as 'Farm Street'. Fr Dominic Robinson SJ is priest in charge:

"We're a gathered community from all around London and much further afield and we have a large digital community also through social media and through the livestream of Masses. We're a community who comes together to pray, to worship, who come together round the table of the Lord in the Eucharist. That's the most important thing that we do. But we're actually a collection of different communities as well who come together around that one table. All sorts of different groups, among them the Catholic Writers Guild, different ethnic chaplaincies - the Portuguese, the Filipinos, the Japanese, LGBT Catholics Westminster, the Knights and Dames of the Holy Sepulchre. We come together to build communities, to build the Kingdom, and we come together also to serve the most vulnerable".

A novena is an ancient devotion consisting of 9 days of prayer - often in preparation for a feast day or for a specific intention. Click on the link below to watch the full novena.
