Campion Hall, the Jesuit home and a centre for research and learning at the University of Oxford, has celebrated the graduation of eight scholars.
The graduates, whose studies span Theology, Migration Studies, Music, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, and the History of Art and Visual Culture, have each made a lasting contribution to the intellectual and communal life of the Hall.
Celebrations began with a welcome from Acting Master Dr Sarah Apetrei and Grace offered by Campion Hall’s Chaplain, Revd Dr Brian Mac Cuarta SJ, followed by a joyful reception with graduates and their families. Degrees were conferred at the University’s historic Sheldonian Theatre before the community returned to Campion Hall to share in thanksgiving, cake, and champagne.
The Jesuits in Britain warmly congratulate the graduates on their achievements, which reflect both their dedication to learning and the Jesuit commitment to forming people for service, justice, and the flourishing of the world.
