SFX - the end of an era

The end of an era...

Brother Ken Vance SJ talks about the history and importance of Saint Francis Xavier Church in Liverpool, why the Jesuits are leaving after 175 years in the parish, and the role of the Jesuits more widely. You can listen to the interview in full (which is 20 minutes long) on the BBC Sounds website here. Photo: Brother Ken is pictured on the right with fellow Jesuit, Denis Blackledge SJ, on the left. Denis retired from SFX this Easter after 7 happy years serving the parish. You can read more about that here.
